About Us

Goodest Girl was founded by me, Liz, and inspired by the icon herself! Miss Dusty Pickles 🥒 Yes, that’s her real name, although she is occasionally called by one of her many unhinged nicknames, Dustylicious, Dusty Springfield or Dustalini.

Dusty had a rough start in life. She and her littermates were surrendered at just 3 weeks old and taken in by the incredible team at Lea Valley Dog Rescue. They were tiny, underweight, full of worms and heartbreakingly neglected. I was helping to foster the litter, but one look at Dusty and it was game over! She’s fun, fearless and full of love. We became inseparable almost instantly and I officially adopted her on my birthday (BEST. PRESENT. EVER.) 🎀

Now Dusty’s living her best life, she comes everywhere with her little family! The school run, a Starbucks stop, shopping spree or a well earned trip to the pub. (Is there anything better than a pup at the pub?) 🥂

She’s my muse, my best friend and the beating heart behind Goodest Girl.

How We Started

The moment Dusty came home, I knew one thing for sure, the girl needed a pawdrobe. I didn’t want just any doggy clobber. I wanted frilly, romantic, ultra girly accessories that were as functional as they were fabulous. The dreamiest harness and leash sets that match our personalities (and outfits), plus quirky little ruffs, collars and bibs that bring all the cuteness without sacrificing comfort.

I found myself hunting for specific prints, patterns and styles that just aren’t out there readily available. There’s some beautiful bits on the market, but I could never quite find the one. Honestly, our pups deserve to look just as amazing as they make us feel, so I created Goodest Girl to bring my vision to life. ✨
